Revive, Restore and Renew with Greenery

2017 is the year of 15-0343.

This number may not mean anything to you yet. But it should. 15-0343 is the Pantone color of the year. It’s fresh, it’s full of life and it’s officially known as “Greenery.”

Pantone Color of the Year

Each year, Pantone selects one color swatch to serve as their color of the year. From the moment it is announced, this color explodes onto everything from furniture and home décor to clothing and advertisements. It is everywhere.

This year’s color, “Greenery,” is all about rejuvenating and revitalizing. As Pantone describes it:

“Greenery is a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature’s greens revive, restore and renew. Illustrative of flourishing foliage and the lushness of the great outdoors, the fortifying attributes of Greenery signals consumers to take a deep breath, oxygenate and reinvigorate.”

So what does this mean for your home? As every home designer knows, color can completely change the ambiance of a room. Here are some ways to incorporate “Greenery” into your home.

Adding pops of “Greenery” through smaller accent furniture is the perfect way to easily incorporate the trend and tie a room together.
